Revolutionizing Interior Design with Parametric Details and Modern Comfort

Semenenko Dmitriy drew inspiration from the concept of parametric details in wall and furniture design. The aim was to create a living space that exudes modern style and comfort while maintaining eco-friendly standards. The result is an architectural marvel that seamlessly blends open surfaces, materials, and textures while offering absolute comfort.

What sets Apartment Almaty apart is its unique use of non-linear design elements. Designed for a family of three, the apartment is a perfect blend of exclusivity and modernity, featuring achromatic elements in neutral colors. The living space is cleverly divided into common and private areas, with a special focus on the living room's parametric design for audio-video equipment.

The realization of this design involved the use of modern materials such as ultra-fine granite with the texture of natural stone, furniture boards, and wood. The interior decoration is a tasteful mix of stone and wood, creating a refined elegance that still maintains a homely atmosphere. The walls are painted gray, and the door leaves feature an aluminum profile, extending to the ceiling. The apartment also boasts individually controlled heating and air-conditioning in each room.

Apartment Almaty spans a total floor area of 120 sq m, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a studio with floor-to-ceiling windows. A smart home system has been incorporated, enabling remote control of appliances, lighting, and electrical equipment. The project started in December 2018 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and was completed in February 2019.

The design process involved extensive research, with a particular focus on parametric modeling. This tool was instrumental in achieving the design goals and overcoming the challenges associated with translating ideas into reality. The use of parametric design and CNC machine tools made it possible to fully prepare all forms for embodiment.

In recognition of its innovative design and remarkable execution, Apartment Almaty was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the design's outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill.
